Why Are Presidential Candidates Discussing the Removal of the 14th Amendment?

Self-serving politicians these days really lack solid judgement and it surprises us that the public isn’t more verbally disgusted by it. In a moronic Republican move, the topic of removing the 14th amendment in connection with immigration has surfaced as an insulting act of mass abuse. Never missing an opportunity to fulfill their imperialist desires, candidates for the presidential election of 2016 (!!!), are now trying to say that they, if elected,  will even consider repealing or reforming the 14th amendment. In 2016. In an effort to “Make America great again,” as Donald Trump would say.  So many of these candidates, from different political affiliations, aren’t even leaders enough themselves to denounce such a subject unworthy of even paying attention to, let alone weighing in on. Seriously?

Now, according to the fourteenth amendment posted on this site, the first section states:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

This amendment was ratified in 1868 and included those former slaves freed under the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863. As we are fully capable of following the convoluted yet primitive logic of these greedy politicians, do not pity us when we say that these wannabe and actual government officials are doing the most racist debating right in front of us as if it is in their bloodstream to be so inhumane that they would even enjoy capitalizing off of the very people that they employ to do all of their hard work but they don’t want them sitting in classes with their children or living in their neighborhoods.

So now this never-ending plight against the U.S. citizenship and permanent residence of many people of color, brought here in slave ships or voluntarily immigrated for U.S. resources, safety, and the promised opportunity for a better life, clearly shows the true intentions of the predominantly white males who run this country and wrote these laws. They are 100% positioned to benefit white people and they continue to manipulate diction to get their point across that the word “people” applies to white Americans  and that other people granted rights through U.S. legislation might as well regard themselves as prisoners, stripped of our rights at the whim of the capitalist patriarchy, naked and homeless, or dead,  whenever they deem us useless.

This is not how we have to be handled,  cared for, or governed. We have voices,  ideas,  and autonomy and this will show itself evident when we take up for our own destiny and rid ourselves of the false government of white immigrants exploiting natives and immigrants of color.  We do not have to stand for this and in fact, we are capable of take over when we decide to stop obeying these self-made idols and their makeshift rules and realize that they are powerless without someone to rule over.  If we don’t say that this isn’t right when we feel that way,  we are irrationally fearing a system that’s only leverage is what we don’t know about ourselves. None of the candidates vying for office has what it takes to make this country any greater than its ever been, because it is built on lies and oppression,  but we have to be willing to wake up in order to take charge or our lives and recover for ourselves what they want so badly to keep from us.
